MAHINDRA 7520- GO AHEAD, GIVE IT THE TOUGHEST JOBS.

Graeme Thomas is an agronomist and specializes in Avocadoes and Vegetables. Founder and Manager of the company, GLT Horticulture Services, he advices owners on spray technology, fertilizing and disease control, cultivations, environmental schemes and agronomic inputs.

Over years of consulting experience, Graeme have assisted owners to generate maximum, sustainable profits using the best agronomic techniques. Currently he is advising and visiting farms of more than 260 growers, Australia-wide. He also have received great appreciation from the various research committees on Avocado and also on the many studies, he has presented, in the International Conferences. Apart from the consultation job, Graeme also managed his own orchards and vegetable farms, north of Toowoomba.

Last year, when he moved to his new farm, south of Toowoomba, he knew that there was lot to be done to straighten the farm that was severely affected by erosion, over the years. The amount of soil to be moved demanded a solid, rugged tractor in the 70-80 HP category with a loader fitted on it.

His search for the tractor began at farmfest in Toowoomba. He said, “I looked at the various models displayed at the field days but couldn’t find anything as sturdily built as the Mahindra 7520-4WD. I was pleasantly surprised by the value and high quality of the product. What also impressed me was the three year, engine and powertrain warranty on these tractors.”

“One of the other features that drove me towards the Mahindra was its high hydraulic pump capacity. With 65 LPM available at the remotes, it makes it ideal for use with high capacity post hole drivers that I intend to purchase shortly. Moreover, the Auxiliary remotes offer float and detent positions.”

The 7520-4WD boasts an impressive four cylinder, direct injection engine, which is very environmentally friendly conforming to Tier II emission norms. The modern design with turbocharger ensures a flat torque curve with a maximum torque of 282Nm.

The synchromesh transmission provides smooth shifting on the move. The standard 12F+12R speeds maximize performance with a choice of speeds. The dedicated left hand synchronized reverser provides smooth control for maximum productivity during intensive loader and headland operations. The fully independent PTO provides choices of 540 and 1000 rpm.

The front axle with a “limited slip differential”, provides additional pulling power in tough soil conditions. The responsive hydrostatic steering has a tight steering angle for effortless maneuvering even in confined spaces.

The company employs heavy and sturdy 3-point linkage. The powerful hydraulics boasts a lift capacity of 2495 kgs and allows flexibility in handling different implements.

As with the entire range, the 7520 can be equipped with a wide range of attachments that come as factory-fitted options, including the self leveling loader, and canopy allowing the tractor to handle a multitude of jobs and conditions. The self level loaders are extremely heavy duty. The Loader with a safe comes with a with modern design Turbocharger ensures direct injection four cylinder turbo charged diesel, the 7520 features forward / reverse Synchro-Shuttle with 12 forward / 12 reverse gears, two speed, dry reversible PTO, telescopic lower links and stabilizers, wet disc brakes and an impressive hydraulic lift capacity of 2495kgs. Two Double acting remote control valves with Float and Detent position is standard.

In the comfort department, suspension seats are fitted with a retractable seat belt, arm rests, rainwater drain facility, and weight and back adjustments. A clear view, multifunctional electronic instrument cluster with malfunction warning lights, sleek, powerful headlamps with additional halogen lamps standard and stylish front grill and hood produce a modern, functional appearance. A rear work light and comfortable mounting steps on both sides of the vehicle add to the machine’s versatility.

As with all Mahindra models, the 7520 can be fitted with a wide range of implements that come as factory fitted optional extras (including a self levelling front end loader and canopy) allowing it to handle a multitude of jobs and conditions

The New ML Series of Mahindra Loaders facilitates quick change of Attachments, have high breakout forces and handles big loads. They are specifically designed for Mahindra Tractors, making it a perfect fit offering ease to mount and dismount.

Their construction consists of rugged mainframe rigidly mounted to the tractor structure and a durable boom structure providing sturdiness and extended life. Their design offers superb visibility and the four-way, easy to use Joystick control makes operating the loader easy.

An optional list of attachments including 4 in 1 Buckets, Pallet Forks, Bale Spikes etc enhances the versatility of the tractor.
One of the features of the Mahindra Loaders is the Float Position, which when activated, does not allow the front wheels of the tractor to be lifted up while moving dirt, ensuring traction is available from all the four wheels

All loaders are now Euro Hitch Design which enables switching of attachments easier and quicker. The Loaders are of quick attach design, which means that the Loader can be easily installed and removed with just two pins.
